Library & Archive Commission

The Library and Archive Commission develops, maintains and preserves a comprehensive, unified national collection of printed materials related to Australian, near Asian and Pacific Island caves and karst material, including copies of all serial publications of ASF, its member societies and other organisations with an interest in caves. It has a growing digital collection.

The Commission also maintains a collection of significant foreign serial publications related to speleology.

It encourages and where necessary assists in the preservation of significant unpublished private papers and other materials related to Australian speleology, and collects and archives Australian and related cave exploration, management and speleological history material, including cultural materials.
