State Speleo Councils

What are State Speleological Councils?

These state based councils aim to co-ordinate efforts of the state clubs within each state each with their own charter approved by the ASF Council. Their aims are to promote the aims of the ASF within their respective areas and on behalf of their members.

Reports from various committees that ASF members have representation on are made at meetings and issues relevant to cavers are discussed.

The state councils make submissions in relation to matters of cave and karst management and protection, and other issues of importance to their members.
